Melody asked:

I sent my resume 3 days ago. I want to do a follow-up call so the person can hear my voice. But when I call, what should I ask?
I want to sound eager but no desperate.

What is the difference between Experience and Qualifictions in a Resume?

sina asked:

I was asking because I was overlooking several resumes and I noted how a majority of them had either one or the other. Rarely have I seen some resumes that had both experience and qualification. So I was wondering what I should put on my resume??

How can i word my resume to show waitressing job?

phatlip asked:

I was the only server in the morning, so it was me and the cook opening and preparing for the day. I handled the whole floor, taking food and drink orders and serving food, and it was often very, very busy. In the afternoon, worked with other waitresses Also handled beer and wine deliveries. Just wondering how to word this. The job i’m applying for is not in food service but I want to show that I am able to multitask, work quickly and under pressure, am good communicating and friendly with people, and able to learn new things quickly. The format of my resume is name of the job. and then bullets for each duty.

What is the “best” resume format when one significant technical experience but no college degree?

Michael H asked:

What is the “best” resume format for 40 y/o with a broad range of experience in a highly technical field? I am six months short of an executive bachelors in business admin, much of which is review. The position I seek would normally be held by someone with an advanced degree, which my resume lacks. How do I get past the gatekeepers looking for that degree, and how do I present the fact that I will have it soon (virtual completion is an option, so relocation is also an option)? Also, what are the different approaches to U.S, versus European submissions of such a resume? -Thank you.
