How to Write a Masterpiece of a Resume That Demands an Immediate Response
Do you wish to make a masterpiece of a resume that demands an immediate response from your prospective employer?
Every job seeker has to write a resume. In some countries, it’s known as resume, some other countries, known as Curriculum Vitae.
Resume is very important in making the first impression with your prospective employer.
Here some tips how to write a resume to impress your employer:
1. If you must write your resume by hand, avoid any mistakes. Employer will try to recognize your character through your handwriting. However, try your best to have it type written or typed in a word processor and printed.
2. Use a good resume template, but try to modify it to match your unique style.
3. Use active language rather than passive language.
4. In your resume, don’t include a reference. It takes up a lot of space. It is better to state that references are available upon request.
5. Its better if you don’t include your age, nationality, marital status and religion because these might cause a bias.
6. Try to include and emphasize on relevant job experience. If you don’t have any, don’t worry. Just state that you have an active interest in having a career in this particular industry to which you are applying.
7. Your objectives to apply should be mentioned in your resume. The objective must meet the employer’s goal if they hire you rather than your own needs.
8. Format your resume so that someone can get the most necessary information with one glance. You can do that by dividing the resume into neat sections.
